Red Rabbit is the next step in that evolution. Instead of sensors and wires, we use your device's camera and microphone to analyze **5 independent channels** of behavior.
How it works
1. Micro-expressions (FACS)
The human face has 43 muscles capable of producing over 10,000 combinations of expressions. Most of them last less than 200 milliseconds — invisible to the human eye, but the camera captures them.
We use the **Facial Action Coding System (FACS)** — a system for coding facial movements developed by Paul Ekman. Our neural network analyzes **17 Action Units** every 33 milliseconds.
2. Voice analysis
When a person lies, their voice changes on a microscopic level: - Volume rises (micro-tension in the vocal cords) - Variability increases (an unstable pitch) - Micro-pauses appear (the cognitive load of making things up)
3. Oculomotor activity
The eyes are "windows to the soul" — not metaphorically, but neurologically: - **Blink rate** changes under stress - **Gaze avoidance** is a classic deception marker - **Gaze direction** is linked to constructing vs recalling
4. Head kinetics
Micro-movements of the head (yaw, pitch, roll) subconsciously accelerate during deception. Red Rabbit measures the variability of these movements down to fractions of a degree.
5. Composite stress index
Instead of relying on a single channel, we compute a composite stress index from three independent sources: micro-movements + blinking + emotions.
The key innovation: two-phase calibration
The core problem of every system is **individual differences**. Some people naturally blink often, some speak quietly, some constantly move their head.
Red Rabbit solves this with **two-phase calibration**:
